Pentagon Reveals Declassified UFO Footage at First Public Inquiry on Flying Saucers in Five Decades

The UFO phenomenon has made its way to every corner of American society over the last century.

From festival goers in Roswell, New Mexico to sky watchers in Marfa, Texas, UFOs have been a source of wonder and a hot topic among everyday people, as well as the American military and high ranking government officials.

Polls have consistently shown that millions of people, oftentimes the majority of U.S. citizens, believe in the existence of extraterrestrials and alien craft visiting Earth.

Now, the UFO phenomenon is being shown to the world, in a way that we haven’t seen in over 50 years.

New Intelligence Hearing Reveals Declassified UFO Footage

The hearing was attended by top U.S. defense intelligence officials Tuesday on Capitol Hill, during which it was revealed exactly what the government said it knows about “unidentified aerial phenomena.”

The officials also revealed what they can’t explain about what’s been going on, as part of an ongoing investigation into dozens of reports of unexplained sightings.

On paper, the hearings made for exciting news headlines.

What was actually revealed is of great interest to the many armchair UFOlogists, but also has left a lot of people wondering exactly what they may be hiding.

The hearing came almost a year after the release of a long-awaited report on unexplained sightings observed by military and commercial airline pilots.

According to Director of Naval Intelligence Scott Bray, reports of the so-called “UAPs,’ or “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena,” have been frequent and on the rise for over a decade.

Congresspeople were shown video of a spherical object zooming at a high rate of speed past an F-18 fighter jet.

“I do not have an explanation for what this specific object is,” Bray said according to NBC, adding that “finding a UAP is harder than you may think.”

One of the frames shows a “balloon-like shape” according to media reports.

Bray said that sightings generally don’t show much, and “hamper” their ability to fully investigate each sighting. He also explained the various levels of classification that often explain what defense officials say is the true nature of the phenomenon.

Examining footage of the hearing, Bray seems dismissive of the possibility that the sightings could be of extraterrestrial origin. Do you think he is hiding something, and is the government trying entirely too hard to paint these sightings as a type of normal, inconspicuous thing?

Many Unclassified Videos Remain Unexplained

Aside from what’s being shown on Capitol Hill, many “official” government recorded sightings remain unexplained.

In 2019, unclassified videos were released by the Pentagon that had shown “shadow objects that could not be identified.”

In one of the videos, recorded by Navy pilots off the coast of California in 2015, a “blob” like object is shown zooming just above the ocean waves at an incredible speed.

It doesn’t seem to fly like any other object typically seen in everyday life.

“Oh my gosh, man,” one pilot is heard saying to another as they laugh at what they saw.

“What … is it?”

Other recently declassified videos from 2020 show fleets of UFOs flying through the air as confused pilots do their best to make sense of what they’re seeing.

Will We Ever Get the Full, Unvarnished Truth From the Pentagon on UFOs?

Upon further inspection, it is easy to see exactly how and why the most important UFO sightings are overlooked.

Some of the stories have fantastical details and seem almost too bizarre and horrific to discuss in front of a live audience.

Recently, a massive database of sightings and terrifying UFO encounters was made available through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

Among the reports are tales of UFOs that have reportedly left Americans with radiation burns, brain damage, nervous system damage, and “unaccounted for pregnancies.”

All of this begs the question, of course: why are accounts of possible real-deal UFO encounters like these ignored, while the Pentagon continues to rehash the same old stories of “explainable” sightings like the ones mentioned above?

It’s time we took a closer look, and got to the bottom of what’s really going on.
