Cloud or UFO Mother Ship Masquerading as a Cloud?

This bizarre apparition became visible in the skies over Costa Rica and it chose the perfect moment to do so—during the country’s Independence Day.

On September 15, hundreds of thousands of Costa Ricans watched the sky in awe as this unusual phenomenon manifested itself out of thin air. The strange cloud was seen in many cities, including San Jose, Parrita, Hatillo, Pavas and Escazu. Multiple witnesses became convinced this was a sign from God, foretelling the ‘end of times.’

We were just so amazed. We had no idea what it was and we’d never seen anything like it. It was breathtaking, like a sign from God.”

Ufologists rejoiced at the sight of the iridescent cloud-like formation, claiming it was actually an enormous UFO mother ship caught in the process of cloaking/uncloaking itself.

Here we have what I believe to be a UFO above a cloud. Its color is iridescent. Many UFOs are iridescent as seen in reports around the world. This UFO is observing the humans below. We intrigue them. That’s a good thing. It shows they care in some way.”—Ufologist Scott Waring

On the other end of the spectrum, meteorologists offered a more mundane explanation for this stunning vista—a rare albeit earthly phenomenon called “cloud iridescence.”

Regardless of what might have caused it, it sure looks dazzling.
