Brazilian Fighter Jets Chased UFOs That Traveled At 15 Times the Speed of Sound

Twenty-one unidentified objects appeared and disappeared right before the eyes of five separate pilots, and hundreds of troops on the ground also saw them as air force chiefs admitted, “there is no explanation.”

An unforseen UFO chase in Brazil is taking the web by storm. This would later come to be known as the ‘Night of the UFOs’ in which 5 different pilots were a part of Brazilian fighter jets being scrambling in the skies and were specifically directed into chasing 300-foot objects which were reportedly traveling at an incredible fiteen times the speed of sound, or over 11,500 miles per hour.

It was later revealed that a total of five pilots saw the over twenty unidentified flying objects appear and disappear in the sky, while hundreds of soldiers on the ground also observed them in amazement.

Air force chiefs within Brazil would eventually admit they had no explanation for these objects whatsoever. And could not explain them to locals.

The “Night of the UFOs” is one of the many incidents which will be discussed at a hearing being held in the Brazilian Senate diving deeper into UFOs and their presence in the country.

This event comes after the congressional hearing concerning US Navy fighter plane footage showing strange, unexplained objects darting in the sky – the now famous ‘Tic-Tac‘ video.

It is equally quite astonishing to see what happened that night in Brazil a decade before those videos were even recorded.

Witnesses, including highly qualified and decorated, the military’s top officers, saw strange objects move incredibly fast over several hours in the sky.

The publisher, the Sun, shared that the pilots encountered objects in front of them that were not on the aircraft radars – as well as the opposite, as objects played “cat and mouse” with the aircraft in the sky.

Sergeant Sergio Mota da Silva, who is an air traffic controller for the Brazilian air force, reported the very first signs of anything that was unusual on May 19, back in 1986. While sitting in the control tower of an airport near Sao Paulo, he spotted a light in the sky that he did not recognize.

“It doesn’t go up or down, it doesn’t go to the left or to the right, it’s just standing there,” he said.

In response to Mota’s inquiry, controllers at Sao Paulo International Airport denied that there were any planned flights to his airfield.

Even the lights on the runway of the airport were dimmed at one point, he said. That caused objects to move towards the control tower. However, when the brightness was increased, the objects moved away from it.

“Whether they were trying to interact with me, I don’t know. What I do know is that they behaved intelligently,” he told the BBC during an interview.

The lights were reported around 8:00 pm by a group of 2000 air force cadets and officers at an air force training school in that same area. In addition, several objects in the sky were seen by the president of Embraer as he landed at the same airport an hour later.

The Fighter Jets Were Scrambling in Brazil

Two passenger planes nearby also reported seeing the lights in the sky, including one flying through Brazil’s interior.

Once the air force moved into action, it scrambled its fighter jets in all directions to intercept the objects. Nevertheless, it was not an easy task for the crew, as the pilots found themselves disoriented by the events and absurd speeds.

“Sometimes, the pilots had visual contact with the targets, but the radars did not register anything,” said Mota. “Other times, the radars even picked up the presence of objects, but the pilots could not see them.”

Captain Armindo Sousa Viriato was limited by the controls of the Mirage F-103, one of the three planes that initially took off before midnight.

He quickly started out and accelerated to 1,000mph in his high-performance warplane, but as he got closer to the UFO, it accelerated to an incredibly fast speed of 11,500mph, At 15 times the speed of sound, we’ve even heard stories of Mach 17, 17 times the speed of sound!

“If there is a plane that can develop that speed, I don’t know of it,” he shared in an interview a few years later.

Lt. Kleber Caldas Marinho had flown a F-5E when it took off around 10:30 p.m. He described closing in on the target, “which stopped moving towards me and started to climb.”

“I kept following the contact until about 30,000 feet when I lost radar contact and was left with just visual contact,” he stated.

Brazilian UFO researcher Ademar José Gevaerd believes extraterrestrial technology “immensely superior to ours” was on display that night in the skies.

“At no time did they try to attack us. Instead, they played ‘cat and mouse with us,” he revealed.

Perhaps There Was There Missing Evidence Here?

Being on the ground, the extraordinary events were not going unnoticed by the public. Adenir Britto, a photographer for a local newspaper, got a rare tip-off that a “flying saucer” had been spotted above his office one night. The reporter stepped outside, first believing it was a prank, but when he saw the objects, he began to shoot and capture.

After about one month, two air force officers appeared in the newspaper with a UFO researcher by the name of James J. Hurtak.

Initially they wanted NASA to analyze these photos, they demanded that the editor show them the negatives of the photos. The negatives have gone missing and have not been seen since. There are layers of reasons why NASA cannot be trusted.

Eventually, the incident grew in traction and ended up gaining widespread attention and received extensive media coverage all over the world. This then led to an unprecedented press conference by then air force minister Brigadier Octávio Julio Moreira Lima, during which the pilots described what had occurred.

“I was warned by ground control there were several contacts ahead of me approximately thirty kilometers away,” one of the pilots revealed.

“I was also warned that contacts were approaching from behind, and they came on until they were three kilometers behind me. I had to dive, and as I did, the contacts started to climb.”

Did This Event Happen Before?

The objects described by the Brazilian fighter pilots and military personnel seem to resonate with what Navy fighter pilots and have been revealed about UAP sightings in the last decade. Understandably so.

Objects encountered by US Navy pilots, UFOs Spotted On Radar, and even filmed in action are not far from what Brazilian Pilots encountered decades earlier. It’s a true testament that these are not single isolated occurrences. Oddly enough, these unidentified objects seem not to show any visible means, any noticeable way to create propulsion. Instead of what we typically see, they can travel at mach 15 or faster speeds that no modern aircraft made by humans can and seem to have the ability to actually create. They also travel in all directions without the forces of gravity seeming to be of concern to them, as if not constrained by the laws of physics.

We have heard of many other stories of UFOs– also breaking the speed barrier of sound without actually producing a sonic boom. One such story was the former director of the US National Intelligence, John Ratcliffe, he has publicly disclosed classified data related to unidentified flying objects. A while back, the military observed a strange phenomenon; an unbelievable UFO breaking the sound barrier without producing a sonic boom. This baffled them. How was that possible?

While there are many private and personal stories, such as the UFO sighting at a wedding in northern Michigan just last week. These are just some of the accounts that have actually been made public, not only by Navy pilots but also by government officials and military personnel.

It seems that the UFO phenomenon is far more widespread than we initially thought, and only now are governments aware that these objects require attention and extensive questioning as to their origin.
