If you’re curious about aliens and the extraterrestrial life invading Earth, then this episode of
the Simpsons might give you clarity. The infamous American tv show produced by Matt Groening is known for showcasing many historical events. Some spectators speculate The Simpsons to be part of the secrets
organizations who organize the world’s events.

In the season episode 1 of the show, we can see Bill Clinton giving a speech before Homer
Simpson bursts in and yells: “Stop ! Those candidates are phonies, you and me. They’re
alien replicants from beyond the moon !”. He ends up being escorted to the exit.

Later in the episode, Kang and Kodos impersonate presidential candidates Bill Clinton and Bob
Dole in order to invade Earth but are revealed by Homer after he came in contact with their
spaceship.

Why did they impersonate the candidates ? Well, they say it later: “it’s a two-party system, you
have to vote for one of us”. Voters have no choice because they can’t give up on their right to
vote. Kang, the alien, then becomes president and enslaves America. We can see Homer and Marge as
construction workers carrying heavy charges.

The Presidential Candidates Are Aliens – The Simpsons. This episode is far from being unique when it comes to alien representation in The Simpsons.

Indeed, in the season 2 episode 3 of the tv series, the yellow characters are being abducted. This time, the subject is different. Within the first minutes of the episode, we learn that the aliens speak the same language as the Simpsons. The only difference is that, one refers to it as English and the other as rigellian.

“By an astonishing coincidence, both of our languages are exactly the same”, says Kang.

What conclusion can we draw from this affirmation ? Either English was already spoken by extraterrestrial life or maybe The Simpsons are some sort of aliens too.

Later in the episode, Kang and Kodos are feeding Homer and his family multiple meals. Lisa Simpson deducts that her and her family are victims of murderers who are trying to fattening them in order to eat them. They deny the accusations. The episode ends there and leaves the viewers with their imagination. What were their original plans ?

Kang and Kodos Johnson are a duo of fictional recurring characters in the animated television series The Simpsons. Kang is voiced by Harry Shearer and Kodos by Dan Castellaneta. They are green, octopus-like aliens from the fictional planet Rigel VII and appear almost exclusively in the “Treehouse of Horror” episodes.

The duo has appeared in at least one segment of all thirty-two Treehouse of Horror episodes. Sometimes, their appearance is the focus of a plot. Other times, it is a brief cameo. Kang and Kodos are often bent on the conquest of Earth and are usually seen working on sinister plans to invade and subjugate humanity.

The duo first appeared in season two’s “Treehouse of Horror”. The first drawing of Kang and Kodos came from writers Jay Kogen and Wallace Wolodarsky. The finished design was based on an EC Comics issue cover. Kang and Kodos had brief cameo appearances in several non-“Treehouse of Horror” episodes and have appeared as villains in several of The Simpsons video games.
