Iraqi Transport Minister Claims Ancient Sumerians Built First Airport Was Built 7,000 Years Ago

The ancient Sumerians settled in the historical region of Mesopotamia, now south Iraq, in around 5500 to 4000 BC.

According to a minister from Iraq, the ancient Sumerians had been travelling in space for thousands of years. Kazem Finjan said that their first airport was built there around 5,000 BC and it seems as though they were using this facility for aerial exploration before discovering what we know now about flight technology.

The King List is an important document which documents events during Mesopotamian history; one such event being how “the gods went down” – or descended upon Earth (or under its surface). The piece doesn’t explicitly state where these beings came back up again after leaving us with only tantalizing clues.

Alongside a video of the news conference posted on Twitter, Hayder al-Khoei, a researcher at the Centre for Academic Shi’a Studies, wrote: “Awkward moment and I don’t think anyone was brave enough to contradict him”.

The Sumerians were an ancient people who developed agriculture, trade and artisan skills such as weaving metalwork pottery. They settled in southern Mesopotamia (now Iraq) where they had these accomplishments around 5500 BC to 4000BC .
The New Arab reported that Mr Finjan referred his work with Russian professor of Sumerian studies Samuel Kramer; this led them into developing more about their culture for future generations through learning from old ruins found nearby or farther away but still contain valuable information on early human history.

In the land of Dhi Qar, many ancient ruins are found. The most well-known is probably Ur from which it gets its name and was excavated in modern times by archeologists who have since restored some aspects to look more like they did 3–4 thousand years ago when this place served as a temple city for Sumeria’s first airport!

Memo reported that the minister also claimed that the angels “were all Sumerian” and “Sumerian spaceships used to launch from here towards the other planets.”
