Luis Elizondo is a former Intelligence Officer and Director of the pentagons Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP).
The History Channel released a new show on May 31 called “Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation.” The documentary features Elizondo and his take on the shadow program AATIP.
AATIP, is a shadow program funded by the U.S government. The program’s operation began in 2007 and wasn’t made public until 2017. Their interest was in studying UFO’s and whether they present a threat to national security.
Many believe that the government’s investigations into UFO and alien phenomenon ended in 1969 with project Blue Book but that couldn’t be further from the truth. During Project Bluebook 12,000 UFO sightings were reportedly investigated in the 17 years the program was running.
Although officials claim the program AATIP has ended in 2017, there’s evidence that suggests otherwise. I don’t think the government ever halted their investigations into UFO and extra-terrestrial, but prefer to stay in the shadows about any UFO related subjects.
Elizondo left the program in 2017. He then came forward and spoke to the New York Times and confirmed the existence of the shadow government program.
There have been many reports on unidentified crafts flying at hyper-sonic speed. Some were reported at 5 times the speed of sound which is far beyond what airplanes and other human crafts can endure.
According to Elizondo,
“These things that we were observing were pulling 400 to 500 G’s.”
“They don’t have engines or even wings, and they are able to seemingly defy the natural effects of earth’s gravitational pull.”
The human body could only withstand about 9 G’s before blacking out. Elizondo claims that some UFO sightings were explained. Some were aerial drones, some were test missiles but many, which were fascinating and extraordinary couldn’t be explained. He also added that there’s just not enough evidence to prove that the strange objects in the sky are of extra-terrestrial origin.
Elizondo doesn’t shut down the possibility of the UFOs belonging to extra-terrestrials though. He believes that investigations should help encourage people and officials to talk more openly about UFOs. According to the new show, Elizondo left the program because of the governments unwillingness to investigate and address potential risks from UFOs.
According to Elizondo, another possibility is that a foreign adversary is secretly developing technology unlike anything ever seen before. The possibility is more nerve racking than the possibility of an alien invasion.
Flying objects are reported in the thousands and most are still unidentified, at least to the claims of the air force. Could it be that some are technologies made by other countries? Who knows at this point?
“We trust the American people to know that North Korea has nuclear warheads pointed at Los Angeles, yet we don’t trust them with the knowledge that there’s something in our skies and we don’t know what it is? That seems counterproductive to me,” Elizondo said.
